FAQ

Questions solicitors ask first.

No. MessageProof does not upload message content. MessageProof Extract creates the Preview PDF and Evidence Pack ZIP locally on the client's computer. The client chooses what to send back to their solicitor.
MessageProof currently supports SMS and iMessage from supported iPhone backups, WhatsApp one-to-one and group chats where supported source data is available, and Android SMS exports where supported source data is available. It does not currently support Messenger, Instagram DMs, Signal, or other unsupported platforms.
A Verified result means the Evidence Pack and its contents match the cryptographic hashes recorded at the time the pack was created. It is an integrity check of the bundle, not an assessment of the truth, context, authorship, admissibility, or completeness of the messages.
That is the design goal. Extract walks the client through each step in plain language, including phone selection, source selection, date range, Preview PDF review, and final Evidence Pack creation.
Screenshots can be hard to organise, review and explain. MessageProof creates an Evidence Pack ZIP with recorded hashes, an organised Preview PDF, and a verification result that helps the solicitor check whether the pack has changed since creation.
No. MessageProof does not guarantee that a court will admit any particular Evidence Pack. It helps prepare and verify an integrity-checked bundle that the solicitor can review and decide how to use.
